From One Client’s Fridge to Hundreds Across Perth

I didn’t plan to start a meal prep company.

One night, I was just helping my fitness clients stay on track with their food, because workouts alone weren’t cutting it. They were doing the hard things but still struggling with meals: what to eat, how much, and how to stay consistent when life was chaos.

So, I stepped in.

Meal prepping for a few clients turned into dozens. Then it turned into a full-blown operation. Easy Fit Meals was never part of the original plan, but it quickly became a business I now pour everything into.

What Drives Me

I’m not your typical founder.

I’m a solo parent. I love the gym, lifting heavy, and pushing myself beyond what I thought possible. I thrive on structure, hate unnecessary drama, and believe in showing up, even when it’s hard.

This business wasn’t built for profit, it was built for purpose.

To take the stress out of eating well.

To help people feel better, move better, live better, without sacrificing time or flavour.

And yes… I’m also known as the cat lady.

They hang around while I work, usually judging me from a windowsill. But they’re part of the routine now, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Built on Family Values

One night when orders were stacking up and I was stretched thin, my mum, Margherita, stepped in. We cooked side-by-side until midnight, and we both knew something had clicked.

Now, Mum leads the kitchen. She’s the flavour queen behind the scenes, constantly experimenting with new spices and combos. She’s the reason our meals taste homemade, because they are.

Then Dad...

Dad’s always had a green thumb. No sprays. No shortcuts. Just good old-fashioned backyard herbs.

When we decided to use fresh herbs in our meals, it made perfect sense to bring him in.

Every Monday, he drops off a bucket of basil, parsley, and rosemary he’s nurtured with care. Ask Mum where he is and she’ll say, “Out in the garden kissing his basil.” And honestly, she’s probably right.

Oh, and he’s also our handyman. From installing our commercial can opener to fixing flyscreens, he’s the unsung hero who keeps things running.

Like Mother, Like Son

My eldest, Joshua, had the business bug early—selling sweets at school when he was just 12. Then he discovered jerky. He started making small batches for himself and his mates, and it quickly turned into something more.

I was already making sweet snacks for my clients, so adding his jerky into the mix was a no-brainer. People loved it.

Now, Jerky King is a brand of its own, and a proud part of the Easy Fit Meals family.
